야 너 혹시 거기 이름 생각나? 지난 달에 Kim이랑 같이 갔던 그 식당 말야.

place?) The restaurant that we went to last month with Kim.

아, 그 씨푸드 레스토랑? '딥 블루 뭐뭐'였는데 정확히 생각은 안 나. 왜? 또 가고 싶어?

Oh, you mean that seafood restaurant. I think it was 'Deep Blue something' but I can't remember exactly.

Why? Do you want to go there again?

다음 달에 우리 아버지 환갑인데 좀 좋은 데로 가야겠다는 생각이 들어서 그런데 딱히 생각 나는 데가 없어.

My father's sixtieth birthday is next month. I figured we should go to a nice place. (I figured I should take him to

a nice place.) But I couldn't really think of any place (anywhere).

너 혹시 갈 만한 데 알아?

Do you know someplace(anywhere) nice? (Any recommendations?)

어, 생각 나는 데가 몇 군데 있어.

Yeah, I can think of a few places.

제가 이 폰을 올해 1월에 샀으니까 이제 4개월 쯤 됐죠. 전반적으로는 꽤 마음에 들어요.

I bought(got) this phone in January this year so it's been about 4 months now. I've been pretty happy with it for the most part. (I'm pretty happy with it for the most part.)

배터리가 더 오래 갔으면 좋았겠지만 근데 작은 폰을 사용하면 그 부분은 감수해야 되는 거잖아요?

Although, I do wish it had better battery life. But that's what you get for using a smaller phone, right?

제가 여기 2014년에 이사 왔으니까 이제 5년 쯤 된 거죠? 전반적으로는 꽤 마음에 들어요.

I move here in 2014 so it's been about 5 years now. I've been pretty happy with it for the most part.

동네에 뭐가 많았으면 더 좋았겠지만 근데 도시에서 멀리 살면 그 부분은 감수해야 되는 거잖아요?

Although, I do wish this town had something more. But that's what you get for living far from the city, right?

저는 부모님과 선물을 주고 받는 일이 거의 없어요. 가끔 카드에 짧게 편지를 써서 드리기도 하는데 그것도 아주 특별한 

일이 있을 때만 그러죠.

My parents and I hardly ever exchange gifts. I sometimes write them a small card, but even that's only on 

special occasions.

보통은 그냥 모여서 식사나 같이 하고 그러는데 꼭 선물을 챙겨 드려야겠다 싶으면 사실 그냥 돈을 드리는 경우가 더 

많아요.

Most of the time, we just go to a nice place to eat and spend some time together. When I feel like I should actually 

get them something, I just give them some money, more often than anything else.

진짜 재밌었어요. 스토리도 좋고 연기도 훌륭했어요. 여기저기에 웃긴 요소를 포함시킨 것도 너무 좋았어요.

It was really good. The story was good and the acting was fantastic. And I (really) like(d) how they added some 

comedy here and there.

안 그랬으면 전반적으로 너무 진지한 느낌이었을 것 같지 않아요? 너무 유명하지도 않으면서 좋은 배우들을 잘 

캐스팅한 것 같아요.

Otherwise, don't you think it would've felt too serious throughout the entire movie? I think they did a really good 

job of casting good actors who are not too famous.

사실 너무 유명한 배우를 보고 있으면 그 캐릭터가 아니라 배우만 보이는 경우가 많잖아요.

In fact, when we're watching a really famous star, more often than not, we see the actor or actress rather than

(instead of) the character.

괜찮았는데 기대만큼은 아니었어. 스토리의 구성이 좀 별로였던 것 같아.

It was okay(alright) but it wasn't as good as I'd hoped. I feel like the story wasn't very well-structured.

아니, 생뚱맞은 장면들이 몇 개 있었는데, 그거 때문에 헷갈렸어. 결말도 좀 아쉬웠어. 글쎄요, 저는 공감이 잘 안 갔어요.

I mean, there were a few scenes that didn't make much(a lot) sense, and they made it very confusing. 

I wish the ending was a little better(different). I don't know, I (just) couldn't really relate to it.

2시 15분에 시작하는데, 나는 조금 일찍 가 있을거야. 근처에서 부모님이랑 점심 약속이 있거든. 

It starts at 2:15 but I'm going to be there a little early. I'm having lunch with my parents nearby.

네가 어떤 결정을 해도 반대하는 사람은 항상 있을 거야. 근데 괜찮아. 왜냐하면 아무리 노력을 해도 항상 모두를 

만족시킬 수는 없거든. 그리고 그건 네가 싫다고 해도 받아들일 수 있어야 하는 부분이야.

Regardless of your decision(s), there'll always be people who disagree (with you). But that's okay because 

no matter how hard you try, you can't always make everyone happy(satisfy everyone). And that is something 

(that) you have to be able to accept whether you like it or not.

일단 웹사이트로 가서 취소 요청을 먼저 해야 돼요. 그러고 나면 바로 이메일이 하나 갈 텐데 기본적인 정보 몇 가지를

 I figured I should take care of it before then. The reason I didn't tell you earlier was because I wasn't sure when 

it was going to be.

응. 스케줄을 설정할 수 있어서 알아서 청소하고, 스마트폰 앱을 이용해서 원격으로 조종할 수도 있어.

Yeah, I can set up a schedule and it'll operate by itself, and it lets me remote-control it using an app on my phone.

게다가 쇼파랑 침대 밑에도 쉽게 들어갈 수 있어서 여러모로 시간도 많이 절약 되고 수고를 많이 덜어주는 것 같아. 

그냥, 집을 청소하기가 훨씬 수월해지더라고.

Plus, it can easily reach under the sofa and the bed, so in a lot of ways, it saves me a lot of time and trouble. 

It simply makes it so much easier to keep the house clean.

외국어를 책으로만 배울 수는 없어요. 꾸준하게 사용하고 연습해서 익숙하게 만들어야 해요.

You can't learn a foreign language with only books. You have to familiarize it by constantly using it and practicing.

그리고 여러 가지 방법을 통해서 그 언어를 접하는 것도 중요하죠. TV, 영화, 책, 일기 쓰기, 그리고 물론 그 언어로 

대화하는 것까지요.

And it's also important to experience the language through a variety of ways. TV, movies, books, writing daily

and of course, actually speaking in that language.

누가 뭐라든 간에 단 하나의 완벽한 학습법이라는 건 없으니까 그러니까 한두 가지 방법에만 의존하면 안 돼요.

And no matter what anybody says, there's no single perfect way to learn. So you shouldn't rely on just

 a few methods.

내가 생각했던 거랑은 조금 다른데 이것도 (전혀) 나쁘진 않네.

It's not exactly(quite) what I had in mind. This is not bad (at all).

난 좀 더 모던한 걸 생각하고 있었거든. 왜, 디자인 완전 심플한 거 있잖아. 근데 이것도 보면 볼 수록 괜찮네.
